A number is divisible by 3, if the sum of its all digits is a multiple of iii or divisibility past three.
Consider the following numbers to find whether the numbers are divisible or non divisible past 3:
(i) 54
Sum of all the digits of 54 = v + 4 = 9, which is divisible past 3.
Hence, 54 is divisible by 3.
(two) 73
Sum of all the digits of 73 = vii + 3 = 10, which is not divisible past 3.
Hence, 73 is not divisible by iii.
(iii) 137
Sum of all the digits of 137 = 1 + 3 + 7 = eleven, which is not divisible past iii.
Hence, 137 is not divisible past 3.
(iv) 231
Sum of all the digits of 231 = two + 3 + i = 6, which is divisible by 3.
Hence, 231 is divisible by 3.
(five) 194
Sum of all the digits of 194 = 1 + 9 + 4 = fourteen, which is not divisible by iii.
Hence, 194 is non divisible by 3.
(vi) 153
Sum of all the digits of 153 = 1 + 5 + 3 = 9, which is divisible by iii.
Hence, 54 is divisible by 3.
(vii) 171
Sum of all the digits of 171 = i + 7 + 1 = 9, which is divisible by 3.
Hence, 171 is divisible by three.
(viii) 277
Sum of all the digits of 277 = 2 + 7 + 7 = 16, which is not divisible by iii.
Hence, 277 is not divisible past 3.
(nine) 276
Sum of all the digits of 276 = 2 + 7 + six = 15, which is divisible by iii.
Hence, 276 is divisible by 3.
(10) 179
Sum of all the digits of 179 = one + vii + ix = 17, which is not divisible by 3.
Hence, 179 is non divisible by 3.
